Two beatings in a row, after Croatian and Holland prediction miss, I will not make anymore prediction. My heart are crushed, not only by the end result, but with the way Holland play against Russia. Where is their determination from the last 3 games. They look out of gas and idea., why Robben didn’t play? why Khalid been subtituted and makes very wide area on the right flank? Why and Why…why they didn’t continue the momentum after scoring the goal? why…why I didn’t see any of them cry like Ivan Klasnic did yesterday after his side beaten by the Turk’s? Holland players didn’t even seems to regret that they are have been beaten. No offense, but Holland ‘voetbal’ peoples are too ‘proffesional’ to have any sense of nationality.

Russian’s play a lot of better football in the game. Ironically, it WAS the way Holland play their football in the group stage, where they are crushing the world champions Italy, France and also Romania. Another ‘why’, why did KNVB never calls Hiddink back to coach them after all of the magic he does with the ’supposed to be mediocre’ team?

It’s not the beautiful way of playing football that is dead, but the CONSISTENCY of the teams (with a very rich talent and also rich in terms of bank account) that represent those way of playing which is dead. Try to please everyone means you became small for everyone. I’m not sad in the last game because Holland deserves it. It is the total opposite with what happened in World Cup 1998 when Frank de Boer and friends are loosing to Brazil by a penalty knockout or in Euro 2000 when loosing from Italy with the similar fashion. I was crying that day, not because Holland lost, it will surely insult my beloved country (my country was under Netherlands Colonialism for almost four hundred years), I was sad because in that day, Holland are consistently play remarkably or the best football for the whole tournament that times, plus some of the best unforgettable moments or top highlights.

I hope Russia can keep the way they play just like when they are facing Holland. I hope Russians were unlike the Portugals or Netherlanders who easily get too cocky with their ‘half progress’ and didn’t realize that they got nothing yet. Not after they hold the cup.

I’m angry and sleepy… after there was nothing left to be proud of and hopes from Indonesian football, the team I supporting in every tournament are failed this seasons (AC Milan , Barcelona , sigh…).

The only joy I have this seasons is when Celtic’s became the champions. No, Not Glasgow Celtic’s but Boston Celtic’s, who don’t even play football, or as a weird american say, soccer.
